Masterclasses & Restoratives
Masterclasses at The Haven run on Saturday morning or afternoon, while Restoratives either run on Friday evening or on Saturday afternoon. Masterclasses & Restoratives can also be booked for private groups (POA)
Here’s what’s on offer:
- ‘Yoga for the Stages of Menopause’ 3-hour Masterclass – this Masterclass is 50% theory and 50% practice and it is open to women aged 35+ regardless of previous yoga experience. Learn the physiology of the menopause, its stages and how yoga and lifestyle can ease your menopausal journey. Sample a yoga class which includes practices which are supportive at this time.

- ‘Yoga for Menopause’ 2-hour Masterclass – a purely practical Masterclass, suitable for all levels of experience. Roughly one hour and 40 minutes of yoga practice is followed by a cup of tea and a chat.

- 2-hour Intermediate Masterclass – a vigorous Masterclass suitable for those students with 3+ years’ yoga experience and who enjoy a flow practice. Every Masterclass has a different theme and it includes Pranayama.

- 90-minute Restoratives – Restorative classes run during the darker, colder months. The warm and cosy environment is ideal to facilitate a state of relaxation. Restoratives consist of long-held and fully supported postures where you are able to relax and thus gain the benefits of the poses. Readings from yoga texts (old and new) are used to facilitate a state of calm in body and mind.
